Operations began for a railbus service in the Indonesian province of Central Java. Batara Kresna Railbus was formally inaugurated on that Sunday by Bambang Susanto (born in 1963), who was Indonesia’s deputy minister of transportation from 2009 to 2014.
This railbus service, which is operated by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (the country’s leading state-owned railway company), covers 23 miles (37 kilometers) altogether. Batara Kresna Railbus serves a total of five stations along that route.
